2017 New Zealand Society for Earthquake Engineering Conference
Wednesday, May 10, 2017
This year was our first exposure at an NZSEE Conference as a company and we were so pleased with how successful it was. We had the opportunity to discuss and liaise with colleagues from several national and international consultancies and contractors. The interest we received in our two poster presentations, one on LWD and one on CPT was anticipated and we were proud to be able to present our new services and capabilities to the industry.
Cook Costello also published 2 papers in the conference prodeedings:
1. The benefits of Light Weight Defelectometer for improved seismic perforamance of infrastructure in New Zealand
2. Estimation of the vertical subgrade reaction modulus ks from CPT for shallow foundations on cohesionless soils
We are now looking forward to the upcoming NZGS conference in Napier where we will be presenting four papers.
